Conclusion

The little ice age was period of extreme weather, both cold and hot, that affected many areas across Earth, but heavily hit Europe who had many things going on at the time; such as the black death, middle ages, exploration, witch hunts, etc. It negatively impacted hundreds of groups of people throughout Europe.
The main cause of the global cooling is still disputed among scientist and proffesionals, but it seems to be a cacophony of conditions that lead to the climatic event. The biggest contenders are solar activity and the many, many volcanic eruptions. They were some of the more obvious reasons the Earth cooled so much and for so long.
